TLDR I don’t want to complain about an otherwise great game but I’m just curious if the second half of Part 1 and Part 2 are worth the time or if I should just finish the main story and go on to POE 2. I feel like just calling it quits and continuing in to act 3, but I don’t want to miss out on quality content if it’s there somewhere. I’m a few hours in, gathered the three new companions and have been questing and exploring, yet it just isn’t gripping me. I am not a fan of the world design up here, and the story has been pretty lackluster compared to my hunt for Thaos. My issue is that I was getting really into the main quest line and felt like it was just starting to really get engaging for me, and now going into the White March the game doesn’t feel nearly as interesting or engaging. I am enjoying PoE quite a bit, it took me a few tries to get into it but I’m done with act II and found myself going into the White March.
