![]() Solve clues, puzzles, and tasks in small teams to unlock new secrets and eventually escape the room! You have only one hour to unravel the mysteries and escape the room. Now it’s up to you to unravel the mysteries of the child whose soul remains trapped there.Įscapism Portland is a live action room escape game. Since then, tales of ghostly voices, doors that open themselves, and visions of a little girl have haunted the home. This was the harsh lesson learned by the members of the Randle family, whose cursed bloodline came to a tragic and mysterious end nearly a hundred years ago. Secrets can be hidden, but never destroyed. But I believe it's the best way to really learn about your teammates and you won't regret having ever done this room.Location: 10340 NE Weidler, Portland, OR 97220 If you are nervous about the zombie, please do be scared. The great news is that Portland Escape Rooms will be announcing new rooms coming soon and we are determined to keep trying all of them. Bottom line is, I saw how this can be a great event for company outings, birthdays, or just having a wicked good time. You learn communication styles, who your leaders are, you learn how people find a way to contribute, who your protectors are, who is outgoing and willing to put themselves out there. This room, as well as other rooms, teach you something about each person in the room and the type of person you really are deep down. My one tip for this room is ensure you have comfortable shoes and are fit for some light running. Something about combining an aspect of fear with solving puzzles/riddles was just fun. As the staff briefed us, there was nervous laughter about. There was fear before heading into the room. I got a group of friends together to complete the "Trapped in a room with a zombie" escape room. She had done the kidnapped room and American Revolution room and loved it. I planned this trip as a surprise birthday party for my girlfriend since I missed her birthday last year. They deserved a resounding standing ovation for the successful effort. The staff was very fun and able to stay in character. But this escape room was very well done and an amazing experience. When I write reviews they aren't typically favorable reviews. Robert and the other staff members of Portland Escape Rooms really make the experience, though. The set and props are high quality and thoughtfully prepared. Regarding cost, Portland Escape Rooms is on par when compared to other rooms in the area and is even cheaper than some rooms that are closer to downtown Portland. The room uses a greater variety of puzzles than we've seen in other escape rooms and it all adds up to a winning mix of fun versus challenging tasks for everyone in your group to solve. The room has a very dramatic beginning and teamwork/communication really is the key. When we escaped the room, he celebrated our success as heartily as we did. He gave us a very informative introduction, but was literally a "fly on the wall" once the game was underway - helping us out if we asked for guidance, but otherwise staying out of the game and letting us have the space and time to figure things out for ourselves. We signed up for "Kidnapped!" and our host, Robert, was an ideal asset to the room. Tried Portland Escape Rooms for the first time today with my husband and 2 of our best friends and they left us with a terrific first impression.
